CHILDREN'S THEATER

It's truly remarkable how much children's theater is produced on Cape Cod each year -- the Cape's stages are alive with family theater offerings.

Community groups staging shows include the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans, the Barnstable Family Theater in Hyannis, the Cape Rep Theatre in Brewster, the Harwich Jr. Theatre and the Payomet Performing Arts Center.

On the professional stages, the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis and the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater all present wonderful shows for kids.

Cape Playhouse, This is one to put on your "must see" list. An extraordinary theater for children which dazzles audiences with fantastic performances of music, magic, science, juggling, puppetry, and more. Cape Rep Theatre Northside Rte 6A, Brewster, 508-896-1888. Come experience family theatre at its best. Located in a beautiful outdoor setting, many ongoing children's productions for the summer season. Rain or shine the show goes on!
